Topic of the Assembly : 2024-2025 session theme of St. Columba’s School.
Dakash, Aarva Nath, Noel, Vaibhav, Kanav, Advitya, Garvit, Ansh, Nirek and Samoel explained
the meaning of the terms - Strength, Solidarity, Courage, Commitment, Success and Service.
Examples from the life of our founder Edmund Rice were quoted to strengthen the ideas of :
● strength through solidarity
● courage through commitment
● become successful by serving
Students of classes 9 and 10 were encouraged to arise above their lesser selfs and be
contributive individuals in our school and home communities.
Aaryan led the gathering for a gratitude prayer. Adrian shared “thought of the day - We come
together in ‘Strength through Solidarity’, ‘Courage through Commitment’, ‘Success through
Service’ For the glory of the land of our KARMA - St. Columba’s School”.
Arpit shared the news from current affairs.
Our singing sensation sang a song in Naga language. The song described that “time is a
blessing”. We should use our time very carefully and spend our time on love and the things
that we need.
The School Anthem was sung by all at the end of the assembly.
Principal Brother Robert thanked team 10A for selection of the topic based on the theme for
