The
students of Class 11 B conducted a deeply thought-provoking and inspiring
morning assembly today. The programme was beautifully aligned with the theme
“The Lighthouse Effect” and strongly reflected the guiding principles of
Blessed Edmund Ignatius Rice, emphasising compassion, silent service, and
leadership through example.
The
assembly was conducted by Adrian Robert Nathaniel, who set the tone for the
morning with confidence and composure. This was followed by Vanramsoung, who
invoked God’s blessings through a heartfelt prayer, inviting a sense of
reverence and unity.
A
special skit presented by Murtaza Ali and Taaha Qureshi effectively captured
the essence of The Lighthouse Effect, demonstrating how individuals can
illuminate the lives of others through small yet meaningful acts. Their
performance highlighted the quiet strength and influence of those who serve
selflessly without seeking recognition.
The
Thought for the Day was shared by Aaron David, offering a reflective insight
that complemented the theme. This was followed by the message reading by Noel
Mathew, Jordon Gomes, Alok Mahim, and Ronit Bassi, who collectively reinforced
the idea of being guiding lights in society.
Adding
to the aesthetic and symbolic depth of the assembly, Tanmay Garg and Fredrick
Philip held lighted candles, representing the lives of unsung heroes whose
exemplary deeds continue to inspire others. This gesture beautifully tied
together the spiritual and moral elements of the theme.
The
assembly concluded with the singing of the National Anthem, leaving the
audience enriched and motivated.
