On
17th Nov, class 6D presented a thoughtful and inspiring assembly on the theme
of Self-Respect. The presentation opened with a short introduction by the
students, highlighting how self-respect forms the foundation of confidence,
dignity, and moral courage.
The
boys then brought the theme to life through two powerful skits.
The
first depicted the iconic incident of Mahatma Gandhi being thrown out of a
train in South Africa—an event that ignited his lifelong fight against
injustice and discrimination. The second skit portrayed a young Abraham Lincoln
being mocked for being the son of a shoemaker, reminding everyone that true
worth lies in character, not background.
The
assembly concluded on a melodious note with a heartfelt song presented by the
students, reinforcing the message that every individual deserves respect and
must value themselves.
Class
6D’s performance left the audience with a meaningful reminder to uphold
self-respect in their daily lives.
