Description:
Stories are an essential part of a child’s early development—they spark imagination, build language, and help children understand the world around them in meaningful ways.
A delightful story narration session was conducted by the Kindergarten teachers for the young learners on 25th July 2025, featuring the much-loved classic- ‘The Very Hungry Caterpillar’. The story was brought to life through vibrant props, expressive voice modulation, and animated gestures that captured the attention and imagination of every child.
As the story unfolded, the students enthusiastically participated by repeating the days of the week, helping to reinforce their memory and understanding. They also engaged in sequencing the events, recalling what the caterpillar ate on each day—turning listening into an active learning experience.
The thoughtful use of visual aids and interactive storytelling techniques made the session not only enjoyable but also highly effective. The children were especially delighted to see their teachers transform into story characters, adding a touch of magic to the session.
This engaging activity enriched the children’s listening and speaking skills, while also fostering a love for stories and reading. It was a memorable experience that beautifully blended creativity, imagination, and joyful learning.
