On 6th February 2026, the students of Class
4C presented an insightful and thought-provoking morning assembly on the
theme “Thinking Like Citizens.” The programme commenced with a
respectful welcome to the Principal, teachers, and fellow students.
The
assembly began with an inspiring Thought for the Day: “Small acts of responsibility create great citizens,” emphasizing
that responsible behaviour, even in simple daily actions, lays the foundation
of good citizenship.
Through
an engaging presentation, the anchors highlighted that citizenship is not
limited to adults alone; children too are an integral part of society and can
contribute positively through their attitudes and conduct. The importance of
the Constitution of India as the guiding framework of our nation was
beautifully explained.
A
special segment featured Dr. B. R. Ambedkar, the chief architect
of the Indian Constitution, who enlightened the gathering about its historical
development and its role in ensuring harmony among all citizens.
Students
performed a meaningful dialogue illustrating how the Constitution expects every
individual to practise values such as honesty, discipline, respect, fairness,
and responsibility.
The
assembly also included a graceful dance performance conveying the powerful
message that although India is diverse in culture, language, and religion,
every citizen deserves equal rights and dignity.
The programme
concluded with the inspiring reminder:“Think right. Act right. Be the best citizen.”
At
the end, Brother Robert,
the respected Principal, appreciated the students for their
excellent presentation and shared his valuable words of wisdom, encouraging
everyone to uphold constitutional values and become responsible citizens of the
nation.
The
assembly was both enlightening and memorable, leaving everyone with a deeper
appreciation of constitutional ideals and civic responsibility.
