Celebrating Creativity, Talent and the Festive Spirit
The Junior School celebrated creativity and artistic expression through a vibrant Art Fair on 16th October 2026, coinciding with the Parent-Teacher Meeting (PTM). The event brought together students and parents for a delightful blend of creative activities, entertainment and festive celebrations, providing a platform to showcase artistic talent and encourage imaginative expression.
The Art Fair featured an impressive collection of artwork created by students throughout the year. Drawing inspiration from renowned artists and diverse art forms, the young artists presented striking reinterpretations of Cubism by Pablo Picasso, vibrant Pop Art inspired by Romero Britto, and the dynamic figures associated with Keith Haring. Abstract compositions inspired by Wassily Kandinsky reflected the children’s exploration of colour, shape and form. The displays also included intricate paper-cut lace, structured paper models, whimsical pinwheels, mesmerising Mandala art, luminous stained-glass paintings, delightful shoebox zoo panoramas and a colourful collection of classic children’s paintings. Together, these creations reflected the students’ imagination, creativity and growing artistic skills.
The Art Fair offered a variety of engaging experiences for students and parents. A creative arts and crafts workshop hosted by Pidilite and a drawing competition organised by H.T. PACE provided opportunities for young participants to explore and showcase their artistic abilities. A traditional Rajasthani puppet show, vibrant face painting and temporary tattoos added colour and entertainment to the occasion, while a high-energy musical flash mob brought an element of surprise and excitement to the festivities.
Adding to the festive spirit, students participated in diya painting, expressing their creativity through colourful designs inspired by the upcoming Diwali celebrations. Parents, too, had the opportunity to showcase their artistic flair through the Rangoli and Flower Arrangement Competitions, which added beauty and vibrancy to the event.
The Diwali Extravaganza further enriched the celebrations, with local NGOs showcasing handcrafted festive products. This offered families an opportunity to support meaningful social causes while exploring unique Diwali creations. Exciting prizes, giveaways and delightful surprises added to the enthusiasm and enjoyment throughout the day.
The Junior School Art Fair was a joyful celebration of creativity, artistic expression and community spirit. By bringing together students, parents and teachers in a lively and festive atmosphere, the event provided a meaningful platform to appreciate young talent, encourage creative exploration and strengthen the bond between home and school.
