Description:
The Middle School Patrons’ Awards ceremony, for the academic year 2024-25, was held in the Edmund Rice Hall on Wednesday, Jul 23, 2025. The event was graced by the presence of our Principal, respected Brother Robert Fernandes; esteemed chief guest Lieutenant General Sumer Ivan D’Cunha, his esteemed wife, Ms. Farah D’cunha, our Community Leader, Brother Agnelo,The Province Leader, Brother Steve, Brother Cedric; The Middle School Headmistress, Mrs. Aparajita Pal,The Junior School Headmistress, Mrs. Ritu Kaushal,The Senior School Headmaster, Mr. Naresh Chopra along with our esteemed patrons,alumni ,the awardees and their parents.
The ceremony commenced with a prayer song and lighting of the lamp to invoke divine blessings. The theme of the programme, “The Power of Peaceful Progress,” was introduced through a captivating skit. Our Chief Guest, Lieutenant General Sumer Ivan D’Cunha, Sena Medal, delivered an inspiring speech, emphasising on the peace they look for when standing at the borders of our country, thereby impactfully guiding our students to build a world with peace as its foundation.
The award presentation began with classes 4 to 8, followed by classes 9 and 10, interspersed with a delightful dance performance and the choir’s melodious tunes. A video presentation showcased the hard work and dedication of our teachers, parents and students behind every success story. One of our PTA members, Dr. Nitya Subramanian, also shared her valuable insights. The event owed much of its success to the generous support of the patrons, whose contributions have been instrumental in motivating the students to excel.
The programme concluded with the motivating words of our Principal, Brother Robert and the vote of thanks by Mrs. Aparajita Pal. The award ceremony was filled with joy, cheer and applause as students received the fruit of their hard work.
