"It is health that is real wealth and not pieces of gold and silver." – Mahatma Gandhi
Keeping the spirit of Sustainable Development Goal 3: Good Health and Well-being alive, the students of Class 2A presented a thoughtful and engaging special assembly on Healthy Food and Good Eating Habits on 21st July 2026.
The boys confidently enacted a lively classroom scene that highlighted the importance of choosing nutritious food over junk food. Through their expressive performance, they explained the harmful effects of unhealthy eating and encouraged everyone to opt for wholesome alternatives such as fruits, vegetables, milk, and home-cooked meals.
The assembly also featured a Healthy Habits Pledge, where students pledged to make healthy food choices, stay physically active, and practise good habits every day. A colourful and energetic dance performance further reinforced the message that a healthy lifestyle is enjoyable and rewarding. The vision of Blessed Edmund Rice was beautifully linked to his compassion and care for the poor and the hungry.
The assembly concluded with words of appreciation from our respected Principal, Br. Robert, and Junior School Headmistress, Mrs. Kaushal, who commended the students for their efforts and encouraged everyone to adopt healthy habits that contribute to a happier and healthier life.
The assembly left the audience with a meaningful message that caring for our health is the first step towards a bright and successful future.
