An educational trip was organized by the Middle Section on Friday, 16 January 2026, for students
of Classes IV to IX. The venues
were chosen according to the age and
grade level of the students, giving them an
opportunity to explore, observe, and
learn through real-life experiences.
Objectives of the Trip
· To link classroom learning
with real-world applications
· To encourage observation, inquiry
and curiosity along with teamwork, discipline and social
skills
· To develop a sense of responsibility towards preserving natural
and cultural heritage.

Class
4; Waste to Wonder Park and Lodhi Garden (“Learning sustainability can be creative, inspiring, and fun”.)
At Waste
to Wonder Park, students explored
impressive replicas of world monuments created from
industrial waste, learning the importance of recycling and sustainable living.
Class 5; Gandhi Smriti
and Nehru Park (“History teaches
us values, and nature teaches
us peace.”)
At Gandhi
Smriti, students learned
about Mahatma Gandhi’s life, values of truth, non-violence, and simplicity
through exhibits and preserved spaces.
Class 6; Airforce Museum
and Nehru Park. (“Courage, discipline, and service
keep our nation
flying high.”)
Students observed various
aircraft, helicopters, uniforms,
and war memorabilia displayed at the
museum. The exhibits helped them in
understanding the role of the Air Force in safeguarding our nation and its blue
sky.
Class 7; Nehru
Planetarium and Nehru Park
(“The sky is not the limit when curiosity takes flight.”)
Through an engaging sky show and interactive exhibits,
students learned about planets, stars, constellations,
and space exploration. The visual experience sparked curiosity about the
infinite universe and its mysteries.
Class 8; Prime Minister’s Museum and Nehru Park (“Understanding our leaders helps us understand our nation.”)
Through interactive exhibits, photographs, and multimedia displays, students learned about leadership,
democratic values, governance, and the challenges faced by the nation at
different stages of history.
Class 9; Humayun’s Tomb and Sunder
Nursery (“The past teaches us history, and nature teaches
us harmony.”)
At Humayun’s Tomb, students learned about Mughal
architecture, history, and cultural heritage
whereas the visit to Sunder
Nursery introduced them to biodiversity and the importance of green spaces in urban areas.
The educational trip was highly successful as it achieved
its objectives of holistic
development, and enriched the students’ learning experience, beyond
the classrooms.
