Handwriting is an essential skill that supports the development of fine motor coordination and builds confidence in students. It activates the brain and contributes to reading fluency as well.
An Intra-Class English Handwriting Competition for Classes KG–3 was held at Junior School on 29th April 2025, offering students the opportunity to showcase their handwriting skills. The objective of the competition was to encourage students to write neatly with correct strokes and letter formation.
The competition was conducted in the respective classrooms and involved all students from Classes KG–3. Each student was motivated to present their best handwriting. The competition was judged by the class teacher on the basis of neatness, letter formation, space and clarity. The response of the students was very encouraging. Majority of them put in their best foot forward and made sincere efforts to improve and display their handwriting skills.
