THE OCULUX 25' HAS FINALLY BEEN DECYPHERED

On the 30th of August 2025, the Decypher Department of the Reboot Society hosted ‘The Oculux’, a hunt that required participants to use logic, reason and cryptography skills while strategizing with their team as they navigated through complicated Cryptic problems.

This year's Oculux followed along the famous internet mystery CICADA 3301, and served as a simulated attempt at its revival. From finding hidden messages embedded online, to utilizing clues and codes hidden on campus, the event was an incredible success.

With over 20 competent teams, and 80 students in total, the following teams have emerged victorious in the challenging competition -
