A brief Report on the Edu-tainment Adventure at Pangot: A Memorable Outdoor Learning Experience :-
From 22nd to 25th May 2025, a group of 20 enthusiastic students from our middle school, accompanied by two teachers, embarked on an unforgettable 3-day learning expedition to Pangot, a serene Himalayan town near Nainital. This immersive educational trip, in collaboration with Shorts & Shots Travel, combined outdoor adventure with vital survival skills in a fun and engaging environment.
The journey began on 22nd May, as the group assembled at school by night and boarded AC buses to Pangot. After a scenic drive and a warm welcome, the students participated in adventure activities like flying fox, Burma bridge, jumaring, and commando net climbing, learning the importance of teamwork, courage, and resilience.
On 24th May, the focus shifted to farm exploration and survival knowledge. Students visited a local farm, interacted with farmers, and gained hands-on experience in nature-based living. They attended sessions on first aid, building improvised shelters, and navigating without the internet, reinforcing essential life skills. Fun team-building games like stick march and flag making brought in laughter and creativity, while the evening music night was a celebration of joy and togetherness under the stars.
The trip concluded on 25th May with a short morning hike and a visit to the mall road in Nainital. After some leisure shopping and lunch, the group returned safely to Delhi that night, carrying with them memories of growth, friendship, and a deepened respect for nature.
This experiential journey was more than just a trip — it was a transformative adventure that fostered independence, environmental awareness, and essential life skills among our students.
