Description: Class 8E Assembly on diversity, inclusion and vision of blessed Edmund Rice. "Like a puzzle, the pieces of diversity must fit together to form a beautiful picture of humanity." On 29th September, students of class 8E conducted the morning assembly on the topic Diversity, inclusion and vision of Blessed Edmund Rice. The students beautifully conveyed the message through a short act that even though there is diversity or differences all over the world, they can bring a change as students by understanding and accepting diversity in classrooms of diverse learners. The students also reminded all the Columbans of how Blessed Edmund Rice welcomed all the boys irrespective of their varied differences or backgrounds and served the greatest purpose of God. They taught all, to be like Edmund, including everyone so that no one is left out. Thus, the students took pride to be a part of Edmund Rice institution that provides inclusive education for all the boys. Our Principal, Br. Robert appreciated the students for throwing light on the great deeds of Blessed Edmund Rice and urged all the Columbans to follow in his footsteps, remember him and evolve as great human beings. At the end the Columbans took away the thought of the day - "Like a garden of diverse flowers, humanity blooms brightest when we appreciate and nurture our differences."
