The Assembly commenced with the chanting of “Navkar Mahamantra, considered to be a powerful mantra that embodies humility, peace and universal harmony.
Daksh shared the Significance of Mahavir Jayanti, considered to be one of the most significant days among the Jain community as it commemorates the birth anniversary of Lord Mahavira.
Prayers from the Jain holy book “Mangal Vani” were shared to emphasize the teachings of Lord Mahavira.
Aaradhya, Hridey and Parin talked about the history and importance of Mahavir Jayanti. Dhairya underlined the importance of conquering love and hatred, while Sarthak discussed the importance of being selfless. Adarsh emphasized on Lord Mahavira’s teachings that promote righteousness and Priyanshu concluded the prayer by sharing the greatness of having gratitude and self-contentment.
He unpacked the “thought of the day” - “Before you act, you have freedom, but after you act, the effect of that action will follow you whether you want it to or not. That is the law of karma.”
