Description: An experiential adventure trip to Tehri was organized for the students of classes 7-9 for three days (1st March-4th March 2024) to reinforce experiential and holistic learning. It was great to take the children to Tehri Retreat Sursinghdhar Adventure Camp, away from the hustle and bustle of city life where they could really learn from the environment. Students were engaged in a variety of outdoor activities, including trekking, Zip-line adventures, and Tree jumaring. These activities promoted skills such as leadership, teamwork, and problem-solving. Moreover, students developed resilience and self-confidence by overcoming challenges in a natural setting. A highlight of the excursion was the visit to the Indian Military Academy (IMA), where students gained insights into the rigorous training regime shaping future officers which left them inspired. Additionally, the exploration of various museums at the Forest Research Institute (FRI) provided students with a deeper understanding of flora and fauna, enhancing their appreciation for biodiversity. To sum up, the trip was altogether a wonderful learning experience and memorable for all students. The fresh air, greenery, and peaceful environment provided a perfect setting for learning and relaxation.
