A Child Safety and Safeguarding Training Programme was conducted for the Senior
School Staff on 10 September 2026, led by Protection Officers Mrs. N. Menezes
and Mrs. S. John.
The
session covered forms of child abuse, identification and reporting procedures,
awareness of self-harm indicators and appropriate response protocols. Detailed
awareness was also provided on the POCSO Act, including offences and legal
procedures, along with an overview of the Juvenile Justice (JJ) Act.
The
training reinforced the staff’s collective responsibility towards ensuring a
safe, supportive and child-friendly school environment.
