The theme of friendship took centre stage as the students of Class 2E
presented their morning assembly on 17th August 2026, celebrating the joy of
having friends who care, share, and stand by us. The assembly opened with a
prayer of gratitude for friends and family, followed by a Thought for the Day
highlighting the qualities of a true friend. An action song, news presentation,
and poem recitation explored the theme of friendship through different
expressions. The skit, in particular, brought the message of sharing, caring,
and lending a helping hand to life, while the action songs filled the
atmosphere with cheer and brought smiles to everyone’s faces.
The programme concluded with a cheerful Hindi song portraying nature as
a constant friend and reminding us of our responsibility to care for it. Our
respected Principal, Br. Robert, appreciated the children’s efforts and spoke
about the importance of kindness, helping each other, and recognising nature as
a friend who sustains and nurtures us. Mrs. Kaushal also praised the students
for their performance and appreciated the message of friendship and care woven
through the assembly.
