Description: "One thing you may be sure of, that while you work for God—whether you succeed or not—He will amply reward you." — Blessed Edmund Rice The Junior School came alive with colour, creativity, and compassion as we celebrated the Feast Day of Blessed Edmund Rice, the visionary founder of the Congregation of Christian Brothers. Students across all classes engaged in meaningful activities that deepened their understanding of his life and values. Inspirational bookmarks, hand-coloured portraits, and thoughtful mind maps brought Edmund's story to life—highlighting his faith, resilience, and commitment to the poor. Children designed personalised badges and crafted foldable value cards reflecting virtues such as courage, humility, generosity, and leadership. A collaborative collage on the Eight Essentials of Edmund Rice Education and a display titled “The Little Edmund in Me” showcased how students try to embody his values through everyday acts of kindness, empathy, and service. Each activity served as a creative and educational reflection on the values of compassion, service, and faith that Edmund Rice stood for. The celebration not only paid tribute to his legacy but also inspired students to live out those same values in their everyday lives.
