Class 10 - D
hosted a thought-provoking assembly on gratitude, showing that thankfulness is
far more than a polite gesture offered only when life goes smoothly. Unlike
abstract concepts, gratitude carries a unique, practical power in our daily
lives—it actively reframes our perspective, helping us appreciate what we have
rather than dwelling on what is missing.
The assembly
brought this concept to life through the remarkable journeys of Ms. Arunima
Sinha, Major D.P. Singh, and our Honourable President, Mrs.Droupadi Murmu.
Their stories demonstrated how gratitude is deeply tied to resilience—showing
that true thankfulness comes from finding the strength to persevere through
severe hardships while appreciating the people who stand by us. These stories
were followed by a Thought of the day , Global headlines and a prayer for
gratitude.
At the end of the assembly, our principal, Brother Robert Fernandes, addressed
the students regarding the various aspects of gratitude in our lives like
maintaining strong relationships and valuing the infrastructure.
Ultimately,
the assembly left everyone with a meaningful final message: to stop taking our
blessings for granted, recognize our own ability to face tough times, and view
every challenge as an opportunity to grow stronger.
