Description:
On the 23rd of August, students of class 11C performed an assembly on the topic "The increasing intergenerational gap and the role of today's youth in bridging it."
The assembly started off with a brief skit, depicting an average Indian family and the differences in opinions between the members of different generations.
The aim of the assembly was to sensitise Columbans on the increasing gap between the millennials and the Generation Z, which has not only led to isolation, but has also encouraged several mental health related issues amongst the youth.
The assembly finally concluded by requesting the audience to empathize, socialize and sympathize, reminding them of the fact that the current generation will be facing a whole new set of problems when it becomes the parents tomorrow.
