Description:

The morning assembly presented by Class XI-E was based on the inspiring theme, *ORDINARY PEOPLE, EXTRAORDINARY IMPACT* signifying how ordinary individuals can foster extraordinary change through courage, generosity and commitment.

The assembly commenced with the morning prayer, followed by an engaging conversation centred on the inspiring story of Dashrath Manjhi, THE MOUNTAIN MAN OF INDIA,who carved a path through a mountain with nothing but determination. The speakers then shed light on the contributions of the lesser-known torchbearers.

Jadav Payeng, THE FOREST MAN OF INDIA transformed barren land into a thriving forest, while Nicholas Winton reminded us that silent acts of benevolence can save innumerable lives. The audience was further enlightened by the contributions of Rosa Parks, Gino Bartali and Irena Sendler.

The presentations were accompanied by placards that provided a visual representation of each personality.

The choir’s soulful rendition of *MAN IN THE MIRROR* by Michael Jackson reinforced the message that meaningful change begins with the person we see in the mirror.

The assembly concluded with a tribute to Blessed Edmund Rice, whose life of service and unwavering commitment perfectly encapsulated the crux of the assembly.

The final segment featured mirrors symbolising the hidden and limitless potential within every individual, leaving the audience with the stirring thought that extraordinary impact begins with ordinary people who choose to make a difference.
