“Let us nurture the nature to have a nurturing future.”
On October 10th, 2024, the students of Class 2E presented a thought-provoking assembly on environmental conservation, themed “Nurture the Nature for a better future.” The morning began with a special celebration of our respected Principal, Br. Robert’s, birthday. The students highlighted his efforts to promote environmental friendliness, dedicating the assembly to his commitment.
Followed by a heartfelt prayer seeking divine blessings for the planet's protection, the assembly featured a soulful action song that emphasized the importance of peaceful coexistence with nature. A captivating skit followed, highlighting humanity’s responsibility towards the environment, with eco-challenges and solutions being presented, all interwoven with a beautiful explanation of the Biblical Verse from Isaiah 55:12.
An energetic dance performance, combined with enthusiastic participation from the students, left a lasting impression, inspiring all to take collective action to protect Mother Earth. The assembly concluded with a powerful pledge to create a plastic-free India, encouraging everyone to commit to a cleaner and healthier future.
The students drew inspiration from our Founder, Blessed Edmund Rice, and highlighted his initiatives focused on education.
Through skits, songs, and poems, they urged their peers to “Reduce, Reuse, Recycle” and “Go Green,” while emphasizing the 5 P’s—People, Planet, Prosperity, Peace, and Partnership.
Br. Robert commended the students for their remarkable assembly and the profound message they delivered on saving the environment. Junior Wing Headmistress, Mrs. Ritu Kaushal, also applauded the students for their noteworthy efforts.
Class 2E’s assembly served as a powerful reminder of the students’ commitment to nurturing a greener future.
