Description:
The much-awaited Graduation Ceremony of the class of 2025 was held on 18th January, 2025. The graduating class attended the ceremony accompanied by their proud parents, who were especially invited for the function.
The Academic Procession led by the Principal Rev Br. Robert, Mr. Chopra, Mrs. Kaushal, Mrs. Pal and Mrs Garg was followed by a meaningful prayer ceremony conducted by Ms. Grace David. The Senior School Administrator, Mr. Chopra addressed the parents & students and reminded them of how St. Columba’s has played a pivotal role in their lives to help nurture and transform the boys into mature young men, ready to rise and shine and take on the world.
Br Robert shared his wisdom and blessings with the young men and their parents.
Each student of class 12 was presented with a citation certificate and a tie and pocket square as a memento from school. The citations had been painstakingly written by the class teachers for each student. As each student received his memento, his citation was displayed on the screen for all to see.
Mr Vernan Verma performed a motivational song to bid goodbye to the graduating batch. Mr. Ashok Yadav, parent of Abhyudit Singh expressed his gratitude on behalf of the parents to the Christian Brothers and the teaching faculty for the conducive environment that the school had provided, which enabled their sons to blossom into committed & sincere young gentlemen.
Uday Singh and Ronel Jacob Mathew were the chosen valedictorians of the class of 2025. They spoke with pride and fondness for their alma mater which had transformed them from toddlers to young men of substance.
The Grad film "The Columban Reunion” produced by Mr. P Emmanuel along with his team of very talented class XI student directors was a rewind filled with nostalgia and humour of the 13 years spent in school.
The programme ended with a beautiful song of blessings sung by the faculty and the vote of thanks proposed by Mrs. Garg.
The school anthem resounded in the hall as the students sang it for the last time with fervour and reverence.
After the ceremony, parents, teachers and students got a chance to interact with each other over light refreshments.
