Description:
As part of an outreach and inclusion initiative, St. Columba’s Junior School welcomed students from Pratyek, an NGO dedicated to underprivileged children, for a day of creative and meaningful activities on 18th October 2024.
Students from Classes 2 and 3 organized a collection drive, donating First Aid Kits for the visiting children from Pratyek. This activity aligned with our Environmental Studies (EVS) and Value Education curriculum, where our boys learned about safety, hygiene, and basic first aid. In a spirit of sharing, each child from Pratyek was personally presented with a First Aid Kit by our respected Principal, Br. Robert.
Throughout the day, the Pratyek students engaged in hands-on activities of the Art Fair including pottery, blow painting, diya making, and a sensory walk, etc. A magic show added an extra element of fun and joy to the event.
This collaborative outreach program offered a platform for building friendships, and creating a supportive and inclusive environment, leaving both St. Columba’s and Pratyek students with lasting memories.
