Description:
School serves not just as a place for education, but also as a sanctuary where children find joy, support, and meaningful connections. Recognizing this fundamental truth, the Learning Centre team organized a special morning assembly on the theme "SCHOOL IS MY HAPPY PLACE" on the 26th of October, 2023.
The assembly commenced with a collective recitation of the Lord's Prayer, setting a tone of unity and spiritual harmony.
The assembly aimed to shed light on the myriad ways in which school becomes a haven of happiness for students. Through a series of short enactments, the students skillfully depicted diverse situations and scenes, each illustrating how the presence of caring friends and nurturing teachers transform the school environment into a place of sheer happiness and bliss. Students portrayed scenarios where acts of kindness and inclusivity created an atmosphere of acceptance and happiness. The assembly underscored the role of friendships in shaping a child’s happiness at school. Scenes depicting camaraderie and genuine friendships highlighted the significance of social bonds in creating a positive and cheerful school environment. Following the enlightening skit, the stage came alive with vibrant dance and musical performances by the students.
At the end of the assembly, our respected Principal, Brother Robert, shared valuable insights with the students. He emphasized that happiness is indeed an inside job and encouraged everyone present to work hard not only to maintain their own happiness but also to spread happiness to those around them. His words resonated deeply, inspiring all to embrace the responsibility of cultivating joy within themselves and in the school community.
Additionally, Mrs. Kaushal, the Headmistress of the Junior School, expressed her appreciation for the efforts of the students from the Learning Centre. She applauded their creativity and dedication in putting together such a meaningful assembly.
The assembly served as a reminder that by fostering a supportive and inclusive atmosphere, we can collectively create an environment where every child feels that indeed- "SCHOOL IS MY HAPPY PLACE."
