“A
teacher’s purpose is not to create students in his own image, but to develop
students who can create their own image.”
The Junior
Wing came alive with joy and gratitude as students presented a heartfelt
Teachers’ Day Assembly on 3rd September 2025 to honour their beloved teachers
and commemorate the birth anniversary of Dr. Sarvepalli Radhakrishnan.
The
celebration began on a reverent note with a prayer, seeking the Lord’s
blessings. Young learners from KG and Class 1 set the tone with a
thought-provoking skit on the theme “Can AI ever replace a real
teacher?” Their performance was followed by a lively Hindi
presentation that captured the selfless dedication of teachers.
The stage then came alive with a witty and touching short
play by Class 3
students, “Once a Teacher, Everywhere a Teacher,” which captured
how a teacher’s nurturing spirit endures across time and place.
Adding rhythm
and colour, students presented a graceful dance performance, expressing their
love and gratitude for their teachers, and later sang a special Teachers’ Day
song that filled the atmosphere with warmth. Handmade cards were also gifted to
the Principal and Headmistress as tokens of affection.
The
celebration concluded with an inspiring address by our esteemed Principal, Br.
Robert, whose words of encouragement and appreciation made the day truly
memorable.
