Description:
The Panchatatva Week event (2024-25) held in the Middle School from 15th October, 2024 to 19th October, 2024 at St. columba’s School, themed "Our Planet, Our Elements," was a resounding success, fostering environmental consciousness among students. It aimed to reconnect students with the five essential elements of nature through creative and intellectual activities.
The week commenced with an intra-class quiz on Sustainable Living: Understanding Panchatatva for classes 4 to 8, encouraging students to explore the connection between Panchatatva and sustainable practices. Meanwhile, students from classes 9 and 10 actively participated in a thought-provoking speech and debate competition on The Role of Artificial Intelligence in Space Exploration.
It continued with diverse hands-on activities which brought a vibrant display of creativity, with students from different classes engaging in eco-friendly craft-making activities like wind chimes, beautiful lanterns centered around specific elements i.e. Earth, Air and Wind.
These activities culminated in an exhibition during the Parent-Teacher Meeting (PTM), where the school's Eco Club set up a stall to display the students' creations.
