Description:
On 9TH May 2025 a Leadership Training Program was conducted, in the Edmund Rice Hall, for the newly elected prefectorial body, house captains, vice house captains, sports captain, vice sports captain along with the Head Boy & Vice Head Boy of the Middle Section. This session was facilitated by Brother Agnelo Benjamin, The Community Leader at St. Columba’s School & former Principal St Edmund’s Higher Secondary School, Shillong in the presence of our Principal Brother Robert Fernandes
This session was an important step to equip our student leaders with the necessary skills to perform their duties effectively in the academic year ahead. The training, attended by 140 prefects from classes 4 to 10, focussed on leadership skills, communication, teamwork, and problem solving skills. The student leaders understood their roles and responsibilities and the strategies to balance their academics with the leadership duties.
The program successfully prepared our student leaders to excel in their roles and fostered a sense of responsibility and teamwork. The students felt empowered to enthusiastically take up the new role and make a positive impact.
