'There is no better time than today to encourage our gifted learners to shine ' :-‘Eventful Echoes’- The Annual Cultural Show of Class 1 was held on 4th November 2022 in the Junior School Hall with a lot of enthusiasm, pomp, and show. Our principal Brother Robert, Mr. Naresh Chopra, and the parents of the students graced the show with their benign presence.
The objective of the competition was to inculcate among the students the skills and desire to perform on stage with confidence. The cultural show gave the opportunity for students to present their talent in music, dance, and drama. The boys also got an opportunity to present themselves before parents and guests. They learned about teamwork and coordination.
The energised and motivated students from all sections of Class 1, showcased colour-filled and theme-oriented performances. There were dramatic and musical presentations of 'Vikram and Betal,' 'The witty tales of Akbar and Birbal', 'A novel Radio Show’, ‘Alibaba and the forty thieves' and ‘The Sound of Music’. There were beautiful musical interludes by Mr Shahnawaz, Mrs Malagar, and Mr Ungshungmi. Mrs Benazir, a parent from 1B, also recited a poem written by her son. A short interlude conversation by our boys as they expressed their excitement about the performances, left all waiting for the finale presentation by Class 1E.
As the programme unfolded, the confidence of the students amazed the audience. All the participants were well prepared for the show after rigorous days of practice. After a tough competition, Class 1E emerged as the winner.
The judges for the event, Mrs. Gail Perera and Mrs. Preeti Joseph were super impressed with the grooving dance moves and dialogue delivery of the little Columbans. The show was appreciated and applauded by our respected Principal, Brother Robert, Mr Naresh Chopra, Mrs Ritu Kaushal, and the parents.
