"Always
remember, you are absolutely unique — just like everyone else." — Margaret
Mead
The
young Columbans of Class 1A beautifully brought this thought to life through
their class assembly on the theme -“I am special and so are you.”
The
morning began on a serene note with a prayer, thanking God for His countless
blessings and for making each of us one of a kind. What followed was a
delightful skit that told the story of the number zero — once feeling
worthless, but later discovering its power to make every other number greater.
The act reminded everyone that every person has their own value, and together,
we make the world complete.
The
boys shared thoughtful messages on how each of us is special in our own way —
through our kindness, creativity, and ability to make others smile. They
beautifully conveyed that being special is not just about shining alone but
also about helping others discover their own light.
The
assembly came alive with cheerful action songs that filled the space with
rhythm, joy, and laughter, leaving the audience beaming.
The
heartfelt performance was warmly appreciated by our Community Leader, Br.
Agnello, who encouraged the boys to continue spreading happiness by making
others feel valued and loved. Mrs Kaushal, Junior Wing Headmistress, also
praised the children for their confident and joyful presentation that
celebrated the beauty of uniqueness.
The
assembly was a gentle yet powerful reminder that every child is truly special —
and the world becomes brighter when we recognise that in one another.
