As
part of the National Youth Day celebrations, Tanveer Singh Narula, Adeesh
Sharma, Srijan Panja, Aditya Bagh and Debdatta Sahoo under the guidance of Mrs
Mahima Mehrotra visited the Indian Institute of Technology, Delhi for an
enriching educational experience. The visit began with an interactive session
with IIT students, who shared valuable insights into campus life, academic
culture, sports facilities, and the wide range of clubs available. Their
interaction helped students understand the balance between academics and
co-curricular activities at a premier institution.
The
highlight of the visit was an inspiring session by Professor H. C. Verma,
experimental physicist, renowned author of Concepts of Physics ,
and emeritus professor from IIT Kanpur.He spoke about his educational journey
and emphasized the importance of conceptual understanding over the pursuit of
marks. His thoughts encouraged students to develop curiosity, critical
thinking, and a deeper love for learning.
The
visit proved to be highly motivating and left students inspired to work towards
their goals with dedication and clarity of purpose.
