On
the occasion of Labour Day, the Junior Wing organised a heartfelt celebration
on 30th April 2026 to honour the dedicated helpers who work tirelessly to
ensure the smooth running of our school. The programme commenced with a solemn
prayer service conducted in both English and Hindi, where the boys prayed for
the continued safety and strength of the support staff, asking that they be
blessed in the performance of their daily duties. This spiritual start set a
tone of deep respect, further echoed as the boys took the stage to express
their gratitude to those who keep our campus safe and clean.
The
atmosphere soon turned festive as the boys showcased their talents through
energetic song and dance performances, dedicated to the didis and
bhaiyas. A highlight of the event was an interactive riddle session, where
students presented clever clues for the audience to guess the names of various
helpers — those who correctly identified their colleagues were rewarded with
special prizes, filling the morning with laughter and cheer.
To
further mark the significance of the day, our Principal Brother Robert
presented gifts to the helpers, ensuring each one felt truly valued and
special. Community Leader Brother Agnelo then addressed the gathering, offering
warm words of appreciation for the silent yet vital role the support staff play
in our school family. The celebration concluded with a gracious Vote of Thanks
by the Headmistress of the Junior School, Mrs. Ritu Kaushal, who thanked the
helping staff for their commitment and the boys for organising such a
meaningful tribute to our school's unsung heroes.
