On 15th and 16th April 2026, the young learners stepped into their Kindergarten classrooms (in two batches) for the very first time—wide-eyed, curious, and brimming with excitement. Teachers welcomed them with smiles, helping them feel safe, settled, and happy in their classrooms.
The focus of the day was to help the children ease into school life through joyful experiences. The morning began with simple rhymes and songs, creating a cheerful and relaxed atmosphere. This was followed by a welcome craft activity, where the children enjoyed colouring and creating with crayons and paints, allowing them to express themselves freely while becoming familiar with their surroundings.
A guided school tour added to their excitement as the children visited various areas such as the playground, corridors, play pen, washrooms, swimming pool, and classrooms, helping them become confident and comfortable within the school environment. They also listened to the story “My First Day of School”, which made the experience even more engaging and relatable.
The children further enjoyed a ‘Join the Dots’ worksheet, developing their fine motor skills in a fun and interactive way. Clay modelling was another highlight, where they used their creativity to shape and mould different forms, enhancing both imagination and coordination. Time spent in the play pen encouraged interaction, helping the boys bond with one another and begin to feel at home.
Overall, it was a wonderful start to the Kindergarten journey, filled with smiles and new experiences.
