Newspaper Collection Drive by Kindergarten
Date: 2nd September 2024
Following the message, "Let’s give back to Mother Earth and make it happier," the Kindergarteners organized a Newspaper Collection Drive in August 2024. The drive was part of the Kindergarten Value Education classes on the theme of the 3 R’s (Reduce, Reuse, Recycle), where students from Classes 1, 2, and 3 contributed old newspapers for recycling.
During the value education periods, the KG students were grouped to foster teamwork and stationed at various points in the Junior School. The drive was also tied to Independence Day, symbolizing a small act of service to the nation while promoting environmental awareness and sustainability.
The children displayed banners with slogans such as "Save Paper" and "Save the Earth," and the generous participation from all classes led to a successful collection. The collected newspapers were sent to Ms. Grace and the Justice Team for recycling.
