Description:
The Republic Day celebration held on 24th January, 2025 was a grand display of national pride and cultural heritage, at St.Columba’s School. The event marked the 76th anniversary of India's Republic Day and was live-streamed in each and every classroom through the medium of Interactive Panels.
The event commenced with a devotional prayer, followed by an illuminating skit by Middle School boys embarking on an awesome adventure to discover what is hidden within the Indian constitution. The event featured a series of performances, including traditional dances by Junior and Middle school students. Middle School also presented incredible musical performances as they played and sang seamlessly together creating a beautiful harmony that filled the space with a sense of unity among the audience followed by political conversational displays by Senior School students highlighting India's democratic triumph and its rich and diverse cultural tapestry.
The celebration concluded with the presentation of the prestigious awards to distinguished sports performers of the school across all the groups-junior, middle and senior school students
and the National Anthem sung proudly by the entire school together.
The Republic Day event of 2025 was a resounding success, reflecting the unity, strength, and cultural richness of India. The event was a testament to the spirit of the nation and an inspiration to all the students of the school..
