Description:
The educational trip for class 11 (9th-12th March 2025) included travelling to the wonderful hill stations of Dharamshala and Mcleodganj to explore and gaze at the breathtaking sights. After a routine trip via Vande Bharat, the students made a stop at Kangra Fort. After exploring the entirety of the Fort, the children made their way to the hotel. In the evening, they indulged in team building activities and enjoyed the Champions Trophy final before heading for bed. Early the next morning, students were taken for a short hike to look at an amazing view all around. After breakfast, the students departed for the Dalai Lama monastery in Norbulinka to know more about the rich heritage the place offered. In the afternoon, they visited the Dharamshala Cricket Stadium as well as the War Memorial to observe how the martyrs were respected and their names engraved in stone. The following evening, after arriving to their new hotel in Mcleodganj, a Cultural Heritage night took place which gave the students insights on the traditional dances of the region. The next morning, another trek took place which took them to a nearby waterfall, showcasing the wonders the hills had to display. In the afternoon, students were taken to visit a buddhist monastery and after that, they were given a few hours to enjoy and roam the mall road freely. After returning for their last night, a short DJ night took place. After this entertaining event had concluded, the children were given their due certificates before going to their rooms. On the final day, students had an early breakfast and departed for the train before returning back to Delhi in the evening.
