Description:
WELCOME ASSEMBLY FOR STUDENTS OF CLASS 4
The Welcome Assembly for the new academic session was conducted with great enthusiasm and warmth, aiming to create an inviting atmosphere for all students, particularly the new 4th graders stepping into middle school.
The event began with a heartfelt welcome by the anchors, who greeted Brother Robert, Mrs. Aparjita Pal, teachers, and students. They emphasized the significance of the day as the start of a new academic journey filled with opportunities.
The assembly commenced with the Edmund Rice prayer, followed by the soulful hymn, "As We Gather in This Place Today." A well-coordinated skit depicted the experience of a new 4th-grade student navigating his first day in middle school. The scene effectively captured the nervousness and excitement of the transition, with senior students playing the role of mentors, guiding their juniors through school premises, activities, and rules.
As a token of encouragement and commitment to sustainability and growth, Class 5 students presented bookmarks and seed pencils to the new 4th graders, marking the beginning of their middle school journey.
Following the assembly, Brother Robert was invited to share his wisdom, offering words of motivation and guidance. His address was followed by Mrs. Aparjita Pal, who further inspired the students with her encouraging words.
The Welcome Assembly successfully set a positive and supportive tone for the new academic session, fostering a sense of belonging and excitement among students.
