Class
7A conducted an assembly on Blessed Edmund Rice, to honour and remember the
visionary founder, whose ideals continue to guide thousands of students across
the world. The assembly highlighted how his unwavering faith, strong values,
and selfless service laid the foundation of an educational movement that today
supports numerous schools not only in India but globally.
In
order to inspire students, our founder Edmund Rice, remains a perfect example
of selfless service and unwavering faith. Rising above the personal comfort and
individual aspirations, he dedicated his life to the education and upliftment
of poor and underprivileged children.
The
assembly also focused on the relevance of Edmund Rice education in the modern
world. Students spoke about the importance of kindness, inclusiveness, and
living with a purpose in today’s fast-moving and often self-centred society.
The
assembly was graced by the presence Principal Br. Robert Fernandes, who shared
inspiring thoughts about our founder. His motivating words reminded everyone of
importance of carrying forward the founder’s legacy through kindness,
dedication and commitment. The assembly concluded with the boys singing the
National Anthem.
