The
special assembly on the occasion of Labour Day was conducted with great respect
and enthusiasm to honor the invaluable contributions of workers.
The
program commenced with a warm introduction highlighting the significance of the
day. The speaker beautifully reflected on the philosophy of Mahatma Gandhi,
emphasizing dignity of labour, equality, and the importance of respecting every
individual’s work, no matter how small or big.
This
was followed by the morning prayer, creating a peaceful and positive atmosphere
among all present.
A
meaningful discussion was then presented, focusing on the constant support and
dedication of the school’s labour staff. Students acknowledged how these
workers contribute silently yet significantly to the smooth functioning of the
school.
To
further express gratitude, a heartfelt film was showcased. The film featured
every member of the senior school support staff, capturing their daily efforts
and dedication, which deeply moved the audience.
The
next segment included the felicitation ceremony conducted by the Principal,
Brother Robert, who honored the support staff as a token of appreciation for
their hard work and commitment.
Adding
a musical touch to the celebration, the senior school choir presented melodious
songs that filled the atmosphere with joy and respect.
Following
this, Brother Agnelo was invited to share a few words. His speech inspired
everyone to value and respect the dignity of labour and to always remain
grateful for the contributions of workers.
