As part of the
school’s ongoing commitment to promoting healthy habits and fostering awareness
about the harmful effects of drug abuse, a series of structured and
age-appropriate workshops were conducted for students of Classes 4 to 9 on 3rd
February (Classes 4 & 9), 5th February (Classes 7 & 8), and 6th
February (Classes 6 & 5). The sessions were facilitated by distinguished
resource persons—Mr. Avi, Mrs. Bhavna Jain Paul, and Ms. Astha Singh—from the
Drug-Free World Organisation. Through informative presentations and meaningful
interactions, students were sensitized to the origins and spread of drug
culture, the factors contributing to substance abuse among adolescents and
young adults, and the serious physical, emotional, and social consequences
associated with it. The sessions provided a thoughtful platform for learning,
reflection, and awareness, equipping students with knowledge and encouraging
them to make responsible and healthy life choices.
