Description:
The morning assembly was conducted by Class 5 B on the theme “Bravery Beyond Noise.” The aim was to help students understand that courage is not always expressed loudly — sometimes, it lies in quiet actions, in doing the right thing without expecting recognition.
The assembly began with a brief introduction, followed by the morning prayer. A thoughtful song ‘You Raise Me’ was presented, creating a calm and reflective atmosphere. The Thought of the Day reminded everyone that real bravery can be found in the decision to keep going, even when faced with difficulty.
A short debate on “Bravery Should Always Be Loud” brought out both sides of the discussion — bold public acts versus silent inner strength. Each student spoke clearly and contributed to the discussion. The portrayal of Mahatma Gandhi connected well with the theme and offered a historical example of calm but impactful leadership.
This was followed by a poem that beautifully captured the idea that even small acts of honesty, kindness, and persistence are forms of courage, which brought the theme to life in a gentle yet powerful way.
Towards the end, the Headmistress addressed the gathering and shared a few encouraging words. She appreciated the relevance of the theme and reminded students that bravery is often shown through simple everyday choices — in the classroom, on the playground, or among friends.
The assembly concluded with the School Anthem. The class was able to carry out the programme with sincerity and maintained a consistent flow throughout.
