Inter-School Twinning Programme: Hindi and English Debate Competition
In accordance with the guidelines of the Directorate of Education (DoE), Government of NCT of Delhi, St. Columba’s School, New Delhi, organised an Inter-School Twinning Programme featuring Hindi and English debate competitions for students of Classes VI, VII and VIII on 21 October 2026 in the Middle School Auditorium.
The programme provided a platform for students from both schools to exchange ideas and strengthen their communication skills. Working in teams of two, participants presented arguments for and against the given motions, demonstrating confidence, logical reasoning and persuasive speaking.
The debates fostered critical thinking, teamwork and respect for diverse viewpoints. The initiative strengthened inter-school collaboration while promoting linguistic proficiency, self-expression and mutual understanding among young learners.
