Every child deserves to feel safe, respected, and empowered to speak up. Keeping this important message at its heart, the students of the Junior School presented a thoughtful Hindi assembly on Safe and Unsafe Touch on 24th August 2026.

Thanking God for blessing them with their special bodies, the students offered a prayer of gratitude and reflected on the importance of valuing, caring for, and protecting themselves. The prayer served as a gentle reminder to recognise personal boundaries and stay safe.

The students then brought the topic of body safety alive through an engaging Nukkad Natak, a Hindi street play. Through simple, relatable situations, they helped their peers understand the difference between a safe and an unsafe touch. The presentation emphasised that children must speak up and say “No” when something feels uncomfortable, move away from an unsafe situation, and immediately tell a trusted adult. The boys also reminded their peers that looking out for one another is an important part of creating a safe and caring school community.

Adding rhythm and cheer to the assembly was the lively Hindi song “Bachche Hain Mann Ke Sachche.” Its cheerful rendition brought a refreshing energy to the programme while reinforcing the confidence and positivity of childhood.

The assembly was commended by Junior School Headmistress, Mrs. Ritu Kaushal, who praised the students and teachers for addressing an essential topic with confidence, clarity, and sensitivity.

The assembly concluded with an empowering message for every child: know your body, trust your feelings, speak up, and always reach out to someone you trust.
