Description:

Under Project Life Skills, the SATHI – Peer Educators Club of St. Columba’s School conducted interactive sessions on “It Was Just a Joke” for all five sections of Class X, promoting Child Safety through Emotional Well-being and Cyber Security. Through discussions and real-life scenarios, 40 peer educators sensitised 230 students and 8 teachers on empathy, respectful communication, cyberbullying, digital responsibility, and safe online behaviour.

The initiative was complemented by an expert session by Mr. Vaibhav Sharma on Artificial Intelligence, Cyber Security, and the POCSO Act, where students of Classes IX and X gained practical insights into online safety and responsible digital citizenship.

Together, the sessions reached 460 students and 14 staff members, reinforcing the school’s commitment to fostering a safe, informed, and emotionally secure learning environment.

As part of the Child Safety Awareness initiative, a special assembly was conducted to promote awareness and understanding of child safety. Approximately 750 students attended the in-person assembly.

In addition, a school-wide Child Safety Special Assembly was broadcast through the intercom system, enabling the entire school community to participate. The assembly, presented by students in collaboration with teachers, reached approximately 1,500 students and 65 teachers, reinforcing the importance of creating a safe, respectful, and supportive school environment for all.
