CLASS
ASSEMBLY BY 9 A
TOPIC: BE
THE CHANGE YOU WISH TO SEE IN THE WORLD
On 17th
October 2025, the students of class 9 A presented their morning assembly
centred around the powerful and thought-provoking theme “Be the Change You Wish
to See in the World”. The assembly aimed
to demonstrate how even small acts of kindness, honesty and care create a
powerful ripple of positive change in the world. A short skit effectively conveyed this
message, followed by an inspiring presentation on eminent changemakers such as
Mahatma Gandhi, Wangari Maathai and Afroz Shah -- whose selfless efforts and
perseverance have brought about remarkable social and environmental
transformation. Their stories reminded everyone that true change begins not
with power or position, but within one’s own heart.
The
assembly further emphasized that change need not always be monumental, it can begin
with small yet powerful acts like switching off lights, saving water, helping
others or speaking kindly. Each small step builds a ripple that grows into a
wave of transformation. The assembly concluded with a melodious rendition of
the song “Heal the World”. Brother Agnelo,
applauded the students’ efforts with his words of encouragement, urging them to
embody kindness and bring about positive change in their daily lives.
The
students were inspired to translate noble thoughts into purposeful action,
reflecting the school’s vision of nurturing responsible, compassionate, and
change-driven individuals who strive to make the world a better place.
