Description:
The “Morning Assembly” was conducted on the 22nd of January by the students of Class 6D.
The topic chosen was the concept of IKIGAI.
Ikigai is a Japanese concept that means your 'reason for being. 'Iki' in Japanese means 'life’, and 'gai' describes value or worth. Your ikigai is your life’s purpose.
Ikigai breaks down into four essential elements:
● What You Love (Passion)
● What You Like to Do
● What You Are Good At
● What the World Needs
The students of Class 6D reiterated the importance of thinking about the skills and passions they possessed that would align with the changing needs of the world.
With technology evolving rapidly, jobs transforming, new roles are emerging where one's passions and skills could lead to fulfilment in life.
The students also emphasized the importance of time management in one's activities. This amalgamation forms a powerful synergy, to balance one’s pursuits, hone one’s skills, and fulfill one’s purpose.
This was followed by a short prayer, Br. Robert’s address, felicitation of our swimmers who brought laurels to our school at the CBSE, Delhi State School Games and the School Anthem. - H. Noronha (Class Teacher - 6 D)
