Description:
On 4th April, a collective House meeting was conducted on day 3 during the club periods. This was scheduled to ensure the systematic and smooth functioning of the house-based activities and other responsibilities.
All the five houses’ housemistress, Vice Housemistress and respective teachers belonging to each house attended this meeting along with their students.
During the meeting, the Housemistress and other teachers of the house interacted with the students. The meeting commenced with a brief introduction by the teachers, emphasizing the importance of effective coordination and collaboration within the house.
They were informed about the upcoming inter-school activities and discipline norms.
A discussion took place regarding the allocation of duties. Each member shared their preferences and availability, leading to a revised chore schedule to ensure fairness and efficiency.
The criteria of selection of prefects were also discussed. The expectations from the prefects in particular and other students in general was discussed.
Last year’s prefects also shared their experiences and areas of improvement.
The House In charge motivated the students for their best performances throughout the year. They also encouraged the students to follow the rules and regulations of the school.
The importance of discipline was stressed, being well groomed, courteous and excelling in curricular and co-curricular activities was reiterated.
It was an enriching experience and the students of each house benefitted by it. - (Activity in charges -
