Description:
The Middle School Investiture Ceremony, for the academic year 2025–2026 ,was held on 7th May 2025 in the Edmund Rice Hall, with great pride and solemnity. The event celebrated the spirit of leadership, responsibility, and service, as newly elected student council members took their oath to lead with integrity and dedication.
The ceremony commenced with a soulful prayer that set the tone for the solemn occasion. The highlight of the event was the formal presentation of the badges to the newly appointed office bearers that included the Head Boy, House Captains, Vice- House Captains, Sports Captain, Sports Vice Captain and Prefects from classes 4 to 10. For the first time the position of the Vice Head Boy was shared by two students.The dignitaries adorned the student leaders, acknowledging their potential to uphold the values and vision of the school.
Following the investiture, the oath-taking ceremony was conducted, led by the newly appointed Head boy, Harshan Pusuluri. The student leaders pledged to carry out their duties with sincerity and uphold the honour of the school in all circumstances.
Brother Robert addressed the gathering with an inspiring speech on leadership, teamwork, and resilience. In his address, the Principal emphasized that leadership is not about power, but about service, humility, and the courage to make the right choices. The Middle School Headmistress, Mrs. Pal, congratulated the newly elected leaders and reminded them of their responsibility as role models.
The programme concluded with a Vote of thanks by the Headmistress followed by the singing of the School Anthem. The event was a remarkable display of discipline, unity, and the emerging leadership spirit among the students.
