Description: The Senior Wing of St. Columba's School organised a four day educational trip to Pangot, Uttarakhand. The trip involved our students taking part in a wide variety of activities, starting with a visit to a farm on the 24th of May, where they learnt about sustainability in farming practices. The students were also given the opportunity to learn more and ask questions from experts in the field of wildlife conservation and organic farming. Moreover, on the 27th of May, a total of 57 students from Classes 11th and 12th took part in a cleanliness drive. The drive was organised by the Environment Awareness and Disaster Management Society, and proved a huge success with the students collecting a total of one and a half bags of plastic waste. This helped instill the values of environmental respect and mindful consumption in our students, and helped them further appreciate the natural beauty of mountain ecosystems. Lastly, the students also visited St. John's College - a boarding school run by the Christian Brothers in Nainital, on the 28th of May. There, the students got to learn more about the Christian Brothers and our founder Blessed Edmund Rice, concluding the 4 day trip on a high note.
