A fire evacuation drill was successfully conducted in the Junior School on 24th April 2026 to ensure preparedness and safety awareness among students and staff. The fire alarm rang at precisely 9:26 AM, upon which students and teachers promptly initiated the evacuation procedure. All classes exited the building in a calm, orderly manner, maintaining proper lines and discipline, and assembled efficiently on the main ground.
The Evacuation and Rescue Team carried out a thorough inspection of the entire building to ensure no student or staff member was left behind, completing the entire evacuation process in an impressive 5 minutes and 26 seconds — a commendable demonstration of coordination, awareness and responsiveness. All teachers, helpers and the school nurse remained present and alert throughout, ensuring readiness to handle any unforeseen emergencies.
The drill reflected excellent teamwork, discipline and adherence to safety protocols by both students and staff. Such initiatives go a long way in equipping both students and staff with the confidence and awareness to safeguard themselves and respond swiftly and effectively in any emergency situation.
